The Post Office Theatre Company has been the context in which I have plied the majority of my trade since becoming a member in 1997. The lessons I have learned and the experience garnered, whilst working with the theatre company have been invaluable to my evolution and progression as an actor. Every production is a chance to explore and expand the boundaries of possibility for a role, whilst adhering to the discipline that is necessary within the framework of theatre. During this time I have had the privilege of working with the director Riggs O’Hara on all of the theatre company’s productions and on the last four with writer Courttia Newland, not to mention the many other talented actors and actresses who are a part of the company. Indeed, the company could be described as family and as an actor I am currently in the most unusual yet privileged position of having parts written specifically for me, by an accomplished author, who has known me for the last five years.
